Biblical Devotions

Bible Study - One of the great gifts given by God to us is the Bible. The Bible is the word of God. It is a roadmap for our lives, containing information on everything.

The Blessed Family - It is God’s desire for us to live a blessed life, and he has given us all of the tools we need. Sometimes we just have to figure out how to use them.

Hope - Our hope in God is what gives us the strength to push on, even when we feel we have nothing left.

Love Your Neighbor as Yourself - One of the commands God gives us is to “Love your neighbor as yourself”. How do we love others as we love ourselves? There are several ways that we can show love to others.

Family Worship - The Bible teaches us that worship is our way to give thanks and praise to God. Worship is an important aspect of our relationship with Him.

Prayer - Prayer is our way of communication with God. It is an important aspect of our relationship with him, because just like any other relationship there needs to be communication.

Family Time - Karen, who is nine years old, comes home to find her dinner placed on the table alone. Everyone else is too busy to sit with her, so she eats alone. Karen grows to dread dinner time at home, because it is so lonely.

The Everlasting God - When we stop for a moment and think about the word everlasting, we realize that God has always been, and will always be. Everlasting is defined as; lasting forever, constantly recurring, and eternal duration. It reminds us that we serve one who is bigger than us, and who can endure all things. After all, God is the creator of all things, who better to seek out for strength than Him.

Letting Your Light Shine For Christ - As Christians we are supposed to let our light shine for Christ, and there are so many different ways to do this. God gives different talents to different people.

How To Center Your Life Around God - What do we center our lives around? There are so many things going on all of the time, that it is easy to get off track and put different things at the center of our lives. But what if we stop for a moment, and put God at the center of our lives. How much of an impact would we be then?
