In operation for more than 40 years, Roman Inc. is the inspiration of Ron Jedlinski. His business was born in 1963 with $500 and an old station wagon full of inspirational products. Jesus Knocking
Jesus stands outside, knocking on a closed door with weeds. Holman Hunt's famous painting is full of symbolism, but the main idea, of Jesus knocking on a door, is taken straight from a passage in the book of Revelation...
"Listen! I am standing and knocking at your door. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in and we will eat together" (Revelation 3:20).
Holman Hunt later explained the meaning of the painting's symbolism: "The closed door was the obstinately shut mind; the weeds the cumber of daily neglect, the accumulated hindrance of sloth; the bat flitting about only in darkness was a natural symbol of ignorance..."
The picture was so important to Holman Hunt that he painted it three times, at different points in his life, and said that working on it the first time had made him become a Christian.

Jesus Washing Feet
It was now the day before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. He had always loved those in the world who were his own, and he loved them to the very end.
Jesus and his disciples were at supper. The Devil had already put into the heart of Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, the thought of betraying Jesus.
Jesus knew that the Father had given him complete power; he knew that he had come from God and was going to God.
So he rose from the table, took off his outer garment, and tied a towel round his waist.
Then he poured some water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet and dry them with the towel round his waist.
He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, "Are you going to wash my feet, Lord?"
Jesus answered him, "You do not understand now what I am doing, but you will understand later."
Peter declared, "Never at any time will you wash my feet!" "If I do not wash your feet," Jesus answered, "you will no longer be my disciple."
Simon Peter answered, "Lord, do not wash only my feet, then! Wash my hands and head, too!"
Jesus said, "Those who have had a bath are completely clean and do not have to wash themselves, except for their feet. All of you are clean ‑ all except one."
(Jesus already knew who was going to betray him; that is why he said, "All of you, except one, are clean.")
After Jesus had washed their feet, he put his outer garment back on and returned to his place at the table. "Do you understand what I have just done to you?" he asked.
"You call me Teacher and Lord, and it is right that you do so, because that is what I am.
your Lord and Teacher, have just washed your feet. You, then, should wash one another's feet.
I have set an example for you, so that you will do just what I have done for you.
I am telling you the truth: slaves are never greater than their master, and messengers are never greater than the one who sent them.

Joseph's Studio "La Posada" - Stone resin, measures 10"H 8.25"W 6.25"D "La Posada"Las Posadas A magnificent brightness lit up the sky when an angel appeared to Mary, a young pure women, who was engaged to be married to Joseph. The angel announced that she was going to have a baby. Las Posadas (Spanish for "The Inns") is a nine-day celebration beginning December 16 and ending December 24 which is called Noche Buena ("Holy Night"). It is a yearly tradition for many Christian Latin Americans and symbolizes the trials which they believe Mary and Joseph endured before finding a place to stay and where Jesus could be born. MeaningLas Posadas represents the difficulties that Joseph and Mary, the mother of Jesus, faced in finding a room when traveling to Bethlehem. In it, groups of children and adults go from house to house singing a traditional song requesting lodging (posada). In each house, the owner responds with refusal (also in song), until they reach the designated site for the party, where the owner recognizes Mary and Joseph and allows them to come in. Latin American countries have continued to celebrate this holiday to this day, with very few changes to the tradition.
