Marketing and Fundraising Ideas
Marketing and Fundraising Fundraising is a great way to get exposure for your business and promote your ministry at the same time. Many different clubs and organizations are in constant need to raise money. You can offer them the Disciple's Cross necklace, beaded keychains, and purse charms all at wholesale prices and they can sell them for a retail price and keep the difference. Church youth groups are particularly interested in this type of fundraiser to raise money for summer camp, trips or even missions outreaches.
Craft Fairs You can be very successful at craft fairs and local festivals. You will probably have to pay a nominal cost for a booth but you will usually get a great deal of exposure. Since people at craft fairs are looking for less than retail prices you will have better success selling them for $7.50 each or two for $12.00. It also creates more interest if you are sitting by your booth assembling the crosses while people are walking by.
School Clubs Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) clubs provide a great venue for high school fundraisers. You may also talk to the coaches and club sponsors. Here is where the ability to make crosses in custom colors really comes to your aide - you can make them in the school colors plus any number of color combinations.
Churches Many churches have some sort of bookstore. Since the Disciple's Cross is a non-denominational item you will find that many churches will be interested in carrying them.
Christian Bookstores Try to personally meet a bookstore owner and ask them to display your Disciple's Crosses. The important thing here is to develop a relationship of trust with the bookstore owner and always provide them with new inventory when they are running low. You might even conduct live demonstrations in the stores to raise interest. This is always fun and the bookstore owners appreciate your participation.
Various Shops and Boutiques This beautiful item sells just about anywhere such as feed stores, jewelry shops, beauty salons, gift shops and bakeries. Anywhere there is retail traffic people will take interest in these cross necklaces.

Spirit Wear for Schools I sell cross necklaces and keychains on Back-To-School night and football games. I made them in the school's colors so they can be sold with the school's t-shirts and sweat shirts as part of their Spirit Wear. Kids of all ages bought the necklaces and the adults loved the keychains.
Patriotic Gifts for our Soldiers I try to carry around a red, white & blue Disciple's Cross™ with me so when I bump into anyone who has served in the U.S. military I can give them a gift as I thank them for their service to our great nation. They always accept them with great appreciation and walk away with something to show their loved ones.
